BHUBANESWAR: Union oil ministry Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday appealed to the state authorities to safeguard an legendary warrior horse statue made by noted sculptor Raghunath Mohapatra.
BJP and Congress have already been protesting a government program to alter the construction out of Master Canteen Square into Raj Bhavan Square for its clever Janpath endeavor here.
Pradhan said that the statue ought to be a part of beautification of both Master Canteen square.

This statue is a replica of this warrior horse sculpture in Konark Sun Temple.
The replica made by Mohapatra was set up at Master Canteen in 1988 by former CM Janaki Ballabh Patnaik, said Pradhan.
