Mumbai: There is a large setback for the taxi driver Caali Peeli in Mumbai because the government continues with the rules of “two passengers” despite opening trains for the general public.
Taxis provide last miles connectivity to commuters that come down from the local train in the city of the island.
The Mumbai Taximen Union has registered protests and submitted a petition at the State Ministry of Transportation, demanding that the rules for drawn and taxis were allowed to transport four passengers.
