Ghaziabad: Immediately, each and every property in Ghaziabad may have a unique ID.
Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) plans to issue a 17-digit identification number for each land plot in the city, including housing and commercial.
The unique number will show the area and other information where property is based.
There are around five Lakh properties in Ghaziabad.
Officials said the aim was to help the civil body calculate property taxes in a more appropriate way, which are different from regions to regions, and will also help the owner find a delayed tax on one button.
In the long run, this will help GMC realize maximum income in the form of property tax.
“The existing tax calculation used by GMC is old and outdated, and requires reshuffle.
So, below this program, we will immediately introduce software with the name of property tax management with the aim of maximizing property tax revenue,” said Commissioner Municipal Singh Tii.
The system will require a unique ID code.
The first two digits of the identity code will show the situation, followed by the two-digit district code, while the third set of two digit codes will reveal the name of the city, the zone will be symbolized next and the rest will reveal the area.
