UCPMA ELECTIONSLUDHIANA: The election results of the cycle cycle cycle association (UCPMA) are stated on Friday.
Presidential candidate from United Front (UF) Group DS Chawla defeated the United Alliance Group Nominee (UAG) Avtar Singh Bhogal with a narrow margin of 44 votes.
Chawla secured 696 votes and 652 bhogals from 1,348 which were legitimate surveyed that day.
Chawla’s victory has surprised UAG, which is said to be a person with the top end of UF.
Now with Chawla securing the President’s post, the UAG candidates who win in other seats will remain lower in the hierarchy.
President UCPMA has said the last in all the associations.
Chawla is the current UCPMA president because he emerged as the winner in the September 2019 election.
In a recent incident, he was attacked during the Annual General Meeting (GMS) of the association held on August 18, after that FIR was registered with several UAG entrepreneurs, Chawla blamed for the attack.
UAG, however, has stated that no member of their relationship with the attack and Chawla submitted false complaints.
For the position of Senior Vice President of UCPMA, UAG’s Gurcharan Singh Gemco secured a comfortable victory with a vote of 784 votes and beat the price of UF Group with a 266 voice margin.
Gupta gets 518 votes.
For the position of Secretary General, Manjinder Singh Singh Sachdeva won with only 51 votes margins.
Sachdeva got 684 votes and rivals, Harsimrajit Singh Lucky, 633 out of a total of 1,317 legitimate votes for Satnam Singh controlled Makkar.
He had defeated UF Gurcharan Singh with a margin of 191 votes.
Singh secured 566 votes.
For the secretary post, UAG’s Rupak Sood (755 votes) defeated UF Kulpreet Malhotra Bunty (562 votes) Gupta received 637 votes and Kapoor 686.
Helping the submission of reports, counting for another post, which includes a shared secretary where Valaity Ram Durga and Singh Sukwinder UAC fight; And Propaganda Secretary who has Rajinder Singh Sarhali UAG against Rajesh Bansal UF.
