The International Olympic Committee has calmed several rules for protests in the match, softening a long ban on political protests at global sports events.
Athletes will now be allowed to kneel before playing start highlighting racial injustice, talking to the media and posting online about their views, or wearing clothes with slogans of protests at a press conference.
