Vadodara: City-based Parul University (PU) has signed the MoU (memorandum of understanding) with the National Defense Academy (NDA), Pune, to provide sustainable education to cadets who cannot pursue their entire academic course in NDA.
NDA offers undergraduate training along with the center of excellence in military training.
It is one of the top tri-service academies that train army cadets, navies and air forces.

Graduated students went on to their respective training centers for further training before joining the armed forces.
However, many candidates, withdrawals or fail to meet the academy requirements and are flown because they cannot fully meet the criteria needed for completion in the fields of academics, outdoor training, standards and protocols due to injury / medical complications.

Such placed candidates face many challenges in continuing their academics as a result of several reasons so that they need academic rehabilitation to be offered by PU through this MoU.
“PU is one of the few universities in this country to enter such an agreement with NDA.
