Universities that are deemed not to follow the scary quota rules, ST, OBC, said the student’s body

Nagpur: Suspects that what is considered a health university in this country does not follow the reservation regulations in accordance with the Indian Constitution, a student organization in the city has submitted complaints with the Ministry of Health and family welfare, the National Commission for the Backward and SC class, Commission of St.
According to Dr.
Babasaheb Ambedkar National Student Federation, which is considered a university must offer a 15% reservation for SC, 7.50% for ST and 27% for OBC (non-creamy layer).
“But, they only offer 50% of seats provided for minority students.
These universities also have a 15% quota for NRIS,” Organzation said.
“Ordering policy for Postgraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) medical and dental seats that are considered universities have not been followed according to the UGC regulations (institutions that are considered universities), 2019.
It is injustice with students,” said Dr.
Siddhant Bharne, president of the organization.
The Group has compiled national data that revealed that SC / SC and OBC reservations were given in AIIMS, ESIC and universities and institutes run by the central government.
“Point no.
14 in the field of 2019 University regulations clearly states that the institution will implement policies regarding reservations in recruitment and recruitment, in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Constitution,” said Dr.
Bharnne.
According to complaints, the same policy occurs since the last two years and the same thing is likely to be followed this year if the ministry fails to direct the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) to implement a reservation.
Because of this, many SC / ST / OBC students, who are willing to receive entrance tickets from the University of Academic 2021-22, will lose the opportunity, according to complaints.
In considered as a university, “DEEMED” is the autonomy status given to the university by the central government for UGC’s advice.
It is considered that the University enjoys full autonomy or independence in determining courses, syllabus, receipts and costs.
Considered universities that continue to perform well can get full university status.
According to the UGC list, there are 123 which are considered universities in this country.
There are 20 universities in Maharashtra while Vidarbha only has one – Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Keep Meghe.
Senior education, which has been in several management councils is considered a university in India, told TOI that reservations can be exiled only at the university assisted by the government.
“Many of the universities are fully funded fully have a minority quota of 50% and 15% NRI quota.
The government cannot ask them to implement SC / ST and OBC reservations,” he said together – the university did not have reservation SC / ST / OBC- some of them had Reservations Minorities (Muslims, Christian and Jain) – They also have a 15% quota for NRI students – Medical students demand SC, ST and OBC reservations in considered become universities.
