Universitas Bharathiar (BU) plans to introduce a synopsis online submission and a PhD thesis at the end of this month.
Will not submit synopsis and thesis through the company’s resource planning project (ERP).
The size is expected to help students get a PhD within six months after submitting a thesis to the university.
External testers took up to six months to evaluate the thesis because the University followed the manual process to send it by post.
“We will now receive synopsis and thesis from students online and send them to external testers by mail.
Because communication with testers will be through a letter, we are expected to reduce half of the time in getting reports evaluated,” said a member of the official.
