Patna: The new class of students received from different undergraduate courses began at Patna University (PU) on Wednesday.
However, most of the colleges witnessed a bad presence on day 1.
A Patna Science College student, Rohit Kumar, told this newspaper that it was a pleasure to attend classes in a large lecture hall.
“I really enjoyed my first day in college,” he added.
Raj Kishore Prasad, the Principal of the BN College, claimed that the presence of students was thin on the first day.
He, however, hopes that the presence will improve after the Durga Puja holidays “as students from other parts of the country have not arrived”.
Prasad also said, “the class will be held both in offline and online mode because the university’s examination will begin later this month.”
