University skills to prepare students for the logistics sector

New Delhi: Delhi and Entrepreneurship Skills Universitas (DSEU) has signed the MOU with the logistics of the Skills Sector Board (LSC) to launch the BMS embedded internship program in e-commerce and land transportation.
‘BMS in e-commerce’ and ‘BMS in land transportation’ will provide a combination of conceptual classrooms and direct training.
This three-year course is intended to develop adequate skills and knowledge among students for profitable work at the level of supervision in the logistics sector.

One year of internship training embedded in the program will provide real-time industry exposure to students.
Captain TS Ramanujam, Chairperson, LSC, said, “The logistics sector is one of the largest entrepreneurs with more than 40 million employed, but he experienced extensive shortages in terms of skilled workforce.
A program like this will bridge incompatibility of inventory demand.”
