Nagpur: While all 11 districts in Vidarbha experience the best phase in the Covid-19 Pandemic for the past four weeks, the state government still has not issued relaxation from Levels of Level 3.
After Pune and Nagpur Municipal Corporations issued their notifications, it is expected that the district collectors and commissioners of the city In Vidarbha, where the overall position is less than 0.3%, it will issue similar notifications.
However, there is no such thing that happens in one of the district or city companies.
The irony is that the condition is far better than Pune and Nagpur in rural districts and tribes of Vidarbha – like Bhandara and Gondia.
But more restrictions in this district than in Pune and Nagpur cities.
Bhandara reports zero ‘under treatment patients’ for three days while the Gondia is also on the way to get Covid’s free status.
However, experts say bringing all districts at this level scientifically impossible.
“I think the authority we expect zero covid situations, which means there are no cases, no patients who lack exercise in all districts.
It is not wise and not scientific,” said an infectious disease specialist Dr.
Nitin Shinde.
“We have been wasting two months of economic activity in Vidarbha,” he added.
Epidemiologist Anand Thatte said that ‘zero covid’ is a hypothetical situation.
“Viruses will be forever.
It will continue to infect people.
As long as we do not get serious cases, hospitalization, oxygen requirements, and ventilators; there is no point in counting the number of cases that decrease,” he said.
“I think Vidarbha has seen the worst and we will continue to see some cases and die for the next year,” he added.
A senior member of the Covid task force said he had repeatedly raised the problem in every meeting that the Vidarbha area deserved more relaxation.
“Almost two weeks have passed since schools reopened in rural areas of Vidarbha.
If the situation is very gloomy, we will begin reporting a significant surge in case.
There is nothing like that happening,” he said.
There were only 144 patients treated in Nagpur Regency, and 469 throughout the Vidarbha region.
This means that only 613 cases are active in the Vidarbha region.
More than 11.18 people have been infected on the record.
As well as the official record of the state government, close to 91 Lakh Vidarbha’s population was vaccinated with at least one vaccine dose on August 9.
