NEW DELHI: With Delhi unlocking itself in a ‘phased’ manner, CM Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday issued fresh guidelines for the second phase of unlocking in the national capital.
“Delhi’s Covid-19 situation appears to be improving, and keeping that in mind, we began the unlock process last week,” said CM Arvind Kejriwal in a digital address on Saturday.
The following is a list of activities and services that will be allowed/prohibited from Monday: What’s allowed*Malls, markets and shopping complexes to open on odd-even basis (10am to 8pm) *Essential shops in malls and markets can open on all days *Liquor shops *Standalone & neighbourhood shops (from 10am to 8pm) *Revenue services in district, like registry (office timings) *Self-employed persons such as electricians, plumbers and maids *Delhi Metro services at 50% capacity *Private offices with maximum 50% manpower (9am to 5pm) *E-commerce *Govt offices to function with 100% staff above grade-I and only 50% remaining staff *Govt offices dealing in emergency services to work with 100% staff *All essential and permitted activities allowed *Movement of individuals for funeral-related gatherings, up to 20 people *Movement for all permitted activities allowed, including health services like vaccination *People coming from/going to airports, railway stations or lSBTs *All interstate and intrastate movement/transportation of essential/nonessential goods (No separate permission/e-pass will be required) *Running/walks allowed with appropriate Covid behaviour What’s not allowed*Cinemas and theatres *Restaurants and bars (except home delivery/takeaway) *Gyms, spas, barber shops, salons, beauty parlours *Any shop pertaining to entertainment/amusement services *Swimming pools *Public parks, gardens *Educational & coaching institutions *Weekly markets *All religious, political and social gatherings banned *No wedding in public places, marriage at home or registry allowed *Religious places shall be permitted to open, but no visitors allowed Public transport travel guidelines*Delhi Metro permitted to operate at 50% capacity *Public buses to operate at 50% seating capacity *Auto/e-rickshaw: Up to 2 passengers *Taxi/cabs/gramin seva/phat phat seva: Up to 2 passengers *Maximum cab capacity: Up to 5 passengers *RTV: Up to 11 passengers Kejriwal said more restrictions will be lifted after June 14 if the situation remains under control.
