Unnao Conflict: DGP seeks explanation by SP

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh DGP HC Awasthy has taken cognisance of battle that happened between cops and sailors after death of 2 men in a road crash at Unnao district.
Videos and photographs of all Unnao cops not getting appropriate equipment and confronting angry protestors went viral Thursday.
DGP Awasthy sought an excuse by SP Unnao Anand Rao Kulkarni that regardless of having an intel entered was that the drive ill equipped to deal with the mob.
Many cops had sustained injuries from the incident.
SP Kulkarni told TOI the SHO Kotwali along with three other cops are suspended and an inquiry was ordered .
The question would be run by Additional Superintendent of authorities, Rae Bareli Vishwajit Srivastava, stated the SP.
DGP Awasthy has additionally noted an SOP is set up for tackling of clashes and handling gears to the same happen to be distributed to every district for the goal.
