Until RS 1L is good for playing loudspeakers in Delhi

New Delhi: Delhi pollution control committee on Saturday revised a penalty for violating the noise rules in the national capital with a large fine of RS 10,000 to be collected for noise through loudspeakers / public address systems.
In accordance with the copy of the order, RS 1 Lakh is good will be charged for a set of diesel generators of more than 1000 kilovolt-ampere (kva); Rs 50,000 for construction equipment that emits sound without previous permission.
Under the new amendment, the provisions of the fines of the RS Lakh Rupee are made on any media that causes noise pollution.
Along with this, the order is also given to take action on the noise pollution of the generator set.
Apart from this, now plants that cause noise pollution will also be confiscated.
This amendment proposal has also been received by NGT.
According to new penalties for noise pollution, now if construction equipment makes the sound more than the specified standard, then a fine of 50,000 rs will be applied and equipment will also be confiscated.
Apart from this, people find firecrackers in residential or commercial areas, will be fined Rs 1,000.
However, if firecrackers are turned on in the silent zone, the same fines will become Rs 3000.
In addition, if firecrackers are used in public demonstrations, wedding ceremonies and other religious events, there will be a fine.
Until Rs 10,000 in the residential and commercial zone and RS 30,000 in the silent zone.
On August 13, 2020, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) directed the Delhi government, Delhi police, Delhi pollution control committee (DPCC) and the Central Pollution Control Agency (CPCB) to take further steps to ensure that the noise pollution norm was enforced at the soil level for protection Public and environmental health.
