Up: 342 oxygen plants get functional throughout the state

Lucknow: Of the 555 oxygen plants approved during the second wave of Covid, the government has managed to get 342 functional.
“Six plants get functional in the last two days and the government is working on mission mode to equip the country with all medical resources amid fears of the third wave,” said a government spokesman.
After the country faces a massive increase in medical oxygen demand during the second wave, it makes it mandatory for hospitals with more than 50 beds to regulate oxygen plants.
