Lucknow: When the time of withdrawal of nominations ended on Friday, the State Election Commission declared 349 elected candidates without repositioning for the post of the chairman.
BJP has claimed that as many as 334 candidates supported by the party have won without polling.
The chairman of the newly elected Unnao ZP, Shakun Singh and his son Shashank Singh met CM on Friday all, 187 candidates took back their nomination papers on Friday.
Polling for the remaining 476 seats will be carried out on Saturday between 11am to 3pm, after that the vote count will be made.
