Lucknow: After Swami Prasad Maurya and Dara Singh Chauhan, other ministers, Dharam Singh Saini, resigned from the Yogi Adityanath cabinet.
At the same time, two more BJP MLAS – Mukesh Verma (Shikohabad), and Vinay Shakya (Bidhuna) – also resigned from the party, took the calculation of BJP legislators to stop until August 13 since October.
Nine of them had left the party in the last three days.
There are reports of BJP MLA from Dhaurahara, Bala Prasad Awasthi also plans to cross.
Just like Maurya and Chauhan, Saini, a MLA from the nose assembly chair in Saharanpur too, called “big negligence” from the BJP dispensation against Dalit, back, farmers, and youth unemployed as a reason for the decision to get out of the post.
Like them, Saini, also came from the backward class.
The exit of the cabinet followed the same pattern that was considered during Maurya’s departure and Chauhan head -Sp Akhilesh Yadav Tweeting a photo with Saini called him the Crusader Army “Social Justice”.
While Saini has not announced his resignation from BJP, Akhilesh said that he came to the SP fold will lend a boost to the party’s positive politics.
Moving BJP to Induction Cong Mla triggered an Extsaini Dharam Saini flight from the cabinet coming in the middle of a high voltage tension.
He first returned security protection and then emptied the house allocated to him by the state government, which triggered speculation that he might also get out of BJP.
Saini is the Minister of State (Independent Load), Ayush, Food Security and Drug Administration.
Speculation about Saini left Safron’s fold began to do a round immediately after Maurya on January 11 claimed that several ministers would resign.
Sain, however, released a video message denying that he stopped at the party.
Saini won the 2002 and 2007 assembly selection of the Sarsawa assembly chair in Saharanpur, bordering Haryana on BSP tickets.
In 2012, Mayawati shifted her navel whom he won by defeating Congress Strongman Imran Masood with a margin of less than 5,000 votes.
Saini defected BJP before the 2017 assembly selection and won again from nakur, this time beat Masood with a margin of less than 4,000 votes.
With Masood now at SP Camp Saini, said the source, feeling uncertain about his future at BJP.
The source said that BJP’s move to induce MLA Congress from Behat, Naresh Saini, triggered his steps.
Previously on that day, BJP MLA from the Shikohabad assembly chair in Firozabad, Mukesh Verma was the first to resign from a party.
Verma not only accused BJP to be “stupid” towards the welfare of Dalit and to the back but go further by claiming that public representatives and party leaders from the minority community are not given their interests.
The establishment was seen as a key indication that he might turn to the SP drawing his strengths in the majority of the Muslim community.
Verma happens to come from the Nishad community, which is being cleaned by BJP in a run-up poll.
BJP has sewed alliances with Sanjay Nishadled Nishad Party which has a substantial base, especially in the eastern region and above.
A medical practitioner by the profession, Verma told the Toi that for the past five years, he had tried to attract the attention of the state government and BJP dispensation to the fate of Dalit and backwards with “not successful at all”.
Asked about the next political residence, Verma said that he would “immediately receive the phone”.
Bidhuna BJP (Auraiyya) Mla Vinay Shakya, too, officially resigned from a party.
The development came a day after Shakya announced that he would stop BJP to support Maurya.
