Bulandshahr: A 55-year-old man was beaten to death by his son in a village here, police said on Wednesday, adding the defendant had fled.
The incident occurred on Tuesday in Moodhi Bakapur Village in the Aurangabad police station area.
An argument of money turned into violence and Kamal (32) defeated his father, Prakash, with wooden cot, they said, adding him then escaping from the place.
Prakash suffered a severe injury on his head.
He was taken to the public health center in Lakhavati and was referred to the district hospital where he gave up on injury during treatment.
The case was registered against Kamal on a written complaint from the deceased’s wife.
According to complaints, Kamal asked for money to care for his daughter.
