Lucknow: Continuing the ‘zero tolerance’ policy on crime and criminals, the Uttar Pradesh police have identified at least 800 customary violators at the district level which registered as many as 8,000 cases against them since January this year.
A senior official in the House Department said three feared criminals had also been killed in a meeting with the police in the past year.
“The property of 12 criminals has been installed and the strict provisions of the National Security Law and Gangster Law have been summoned to 25 and 567 people accused of,” he said.
