Lucknow: After promising 300 free electricity units to each household and free power for irrigation, the head of the Jamajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday said that if he chose power, the government would provide free laptops to students who pursue higher studies and create special funds for help meet the requirements.
Poor students to pursue their studies abroad.
He said the two schemes would display in his party manifesto in a complicated way.
“Just like our previous term, this time too, we will provide high-quality laptops to students to allow them to pursue their studies better.
We will also help them in getting a job or starting a business,” Akhilesh said, quoting real life instances where He said that during Vijay Yatras recently, he found an individual who received a laptop during the SP regime and used it for communication, employment and business.
He also announced the provisions of the special budget to help poor students who managed to get entrance tickets to the top courses internationally but could not go abroad and learn due to financial constraints.
Responding to questions about the BJP announcement to provide power to irrigation at half the price, Akhilesh said the promise came after the SP announced free electricity for irrigation.
“During a five-year term, BJP only tried to cash what the SP government had done this was the custom of the state government.
After the SP announces the free power for irrigation, BJP promises that the electricity level for irrigation purposes will be cut in half,” he said.
Asked about suspicion that once the SP government was formed, it would use political vendetta, Akhilesh said the Samawadis believed in peace and prosperity.
“We will bring everyone together but those who will take the law in their hands will not be spared,” he said.
On BJP’s accusations that SP only banks on criminals, Akhilesh said: “Tell who Ganglord here.
I will part with him.
Ask BJP about MLA who has a criminal case against them and about the list of ten top criminals at the district and country level.
They won’t Ever issued a list.
