Lucknow / New Delhi: Placing speculation to rest, Aparna Yadav, a younger daughter-in-law of the Samajwadi Party Patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav, joined the Bharatiya Janata party at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Head of BJP Chief Swatantra Dev Singh and Deputy Chairperson of Minister of Keshav Maurya attended the occasion.
The Chairman of the Yogi Adityanath Minister then welcomed him in the BJP family with a tweet.
“Welcome to Aparna Ji into the BJP family,” he tweeted, marked his photo with the Head of BJP JP Nadda and Aparna, who married Prateek Yadav, Mulayam’s son of Sadta’s second wife.
He is a third family member of the Yadav family who has crossed into the Saffron camp in the past four years.
Farmers, women have never felt safe in the SP regime: BJPMULAYAM’s nephew, Sandhya Yadav – who is the older sister of the former MP Dharmendra Yadav – Joined BJP in 2017 while the day Om Yadav – which is the ultimate exhibition of Uncle Mulakyam, was deformed last week.
Other clan members, former MLA Pramod Gupta, who is Sadhna Gupta’s brother-in-law, all will join BJP immediately.
Speaking on that occasion, Aparna expressed his admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He also said the interest of the nation was always a priority for him and praised several BJP government schemes for cleanliness, women’s empowerment and work.
Although there was no announcement of the election ticket, the source said that Aparna was likely to be derived from Bakhshi Ka Talab as his seat, Lucknow Cantonment – was too crowded with prospective candidates.
Political analyst feels more than any profit on the ground, with defection of Aparna, BJP has succeeded in creating a spectacle about the division in the Yadav family before the poll.
Taking Jibe in Akhilesh, Maurya quickly attacked Akhilesh Yadav, said he had not succeeded in his family and also “did not succeed” as Minister of Chief and MP.
Clear reference was to the YADAV family dispute which began in 2016 and finally endangered the prospect of SP in the 2017 assembly poll.
One-strengthening battle between Akhilesh and Uncle Shivpal Yadav finally led to the last exit of the party.
Although both of them have buryed ax and announced that he and his party members PSP (L) will oppose the 2022 election as a candidate sp.
Praising Aparna Yadav, Maurya said he was from time to time expressing a view that showed his tendency to BJP.
The BJP head used the opportunity to reach SP for alleged support to criminals in the distribution of tickets in the West.
“Farmers and women have never felt safe when SP came to power,” he said.
Aparna, 32, has compiled for the election of the Assembly from Lucknow Cantonment as a candidate of SP but loses to Rita Bahuguna Joshi BJP.
This time too, he competed tickets and his supporters had launched a campaign at Amethi.
In addition, he was also interested in Cantonment Lucknow.
But, the source said that when it became clear that he would not get a ticket from SP, he switched.
Previously, too, Aparna praised Modi in public on several occasions.
In addition, while Akhilesh criticized the VHP donation drive for Ram Ayodhya temple, calling it the work of ‘Chandajeevis’, he contributed Rs 11 lakh.
