Sultanpur: The court here sentenced a BJP leader to serve a prison sentence in a 26-year-old murder case and also imposed a fine of RS 1 Lakh to him.
Court Judge MP-MLA PK Jayant Former Chair of the Gudang Warehouse Company Jang Bahadur Singh and others in the murder case of one Surya Prakash Yadav and told them in prison sentences of a lifetime, according to the government advisory Atul Shukla.
Yadav was killed for the election competition on June 30, 1995 and on complaints from his brother, the police had filed a complaint against Jang Bahadur Singh, his son, Daddan Singh, Ramesh Singh’s nephew and Harsh Bahadur Singh and Bahadur Singh.
One of the accused, Daddan Singh, was killed a few years ago, the government adviser added.
