LUCKNOW: A day following UP Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) declared the test formula for awarding symbols that the pupils of Class 10 expressed pride over the arrangement although people of Class 12, together with academicians, stated more weightage must have been awarded to pre-board assessment.
Since the Board assessments won’t be held this year because of the outbreak, the state government has determined that the last outcomes of Class 12 will be computed after giving 50 percent weightage to Class 10 marks, 40 percent to Class 9 (half yearly/annual evaluation ) and 10 percent to Class 12 (pre-board).
For Class 10, 50 percent weightage all will be awarded to Class 9 (half-yearly/annual exam ) and Class 10 pre-board assessment.
Yashika Pandey, a Class 12 pupil at Nishatganj Inter College, stated:”The formulation gives just 10 percent weightage to Class 12 pre-board.
I missed 90 percent in Class 10 by an individual mark and has been working in Class 12 to enhance my efficiency, but it appears that I won’t be in a position to reach the goal” Ankit Srivastava, a Class 10 student at SKD Academy, stated:”As many colleges resort to rigorous indicating in pre-board, marks acquired are usually less than anticipated.
