MEERUT: Sandeep Pilwan, who allegedly killed his cousin – and brought the gift of 50,000 Rs on his head, on Wednesday was arrested in a joint operation by the Special Task Force (STF), and Police Noida.
The 28-year-old Nida-based advocate murder was the impact of property disputes, police said.
A case was registered with the complaint of Nishant’s father, Prem Singh, against an unknown person and during the initial investigation, it was found that Nishant had a dispute with several people on a piece of land.
According to STF, Sandeep, who plans to hide to avoid arrests, given a nabbed from near the Meerut Bus Stand, officials said.
“During the interrogation, Sandeep Pilwan claimed to have killed his cousin for a property dispute.
On threatened by Nishant that he would take the legal route, the defendant was angry and shot him at his home on October 25,” Declaring STF’s press release.
Nishant rushed to the hospital, where the doctor stated he was taken dead.
