Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh recorded 174 new Covid-19 cases and 254 recovery in the last 24 hours.
Daily cases were comparable to the pandemic situation in the first week of March after the second wave was set.
Additional Chief Secretary, Information, Navneet Sehgal said sustainable decline in everyday case and a surge in the amount of recovery had left the country with 2,946 active cases, which was not even 1% of the peak of 3.10 lakh recorded on April 30.
Sehgal said the data showed that the second wave had reached low-cost in the state.
This figure also shows the success of the trail strategy, test, and treats up, he added.
However, Sehgal warned people to any weakness in following Covid norms, especially after the third wave of anticipated and the risk of mutations by the Covid virus.
The country recorded 18 deaths in the last 24 hours, with a total of 22,577.

In accordance with the health bulletin, 29 districts do not record cases, while Lakhimpur (13), Azamgarh (12), Lucknow (12) and Varanasi (11) are the only district to record multiple digit entries.
In terms of active cases, more than half of the regencies in the remaining state with 20 or fewer active cases.

Also, only six districts – Lucknow (259), Prasagraj (152), Kushinagar (144), Varanasi (135), Muzaffarnagar (121) and Meerut (116) – have more than 100 active cases.
