Lucknow: Four more districts in Uttar Pradesh become Covid-19 free on Monday, with the total district of eleven.
Budaun, Bahraich, Hamirpur and KasGanj are new additions in the eight list including Aligarh, Balkrampur, Basti, Ethi, Fatehpur, Hathras, Mahoba and Sravasti.
Of the eight Balrombars were previously dropped as a new case reported in the district in the last 24 hours.
Overall, 33 new cases were recorded from only eleven districts.
Among the districts, 53 districts recorded zero entries, while 11 had become Covid-19 free.
Covid bulletin shows that while Prasagraj recorded a maximum of five cases, Gautam Budh Nagar followed by three cases.
Lucknow, Kanpur Dehat, Bulandshahr, Chandauli and Saharanpur saw two cases each, while Balrampur, Mirzapur, Sitapur, Pilibhit, Firozabad, Bijnore, Ranggor, Baghpat, Lakhimpur Kheri, Hardoi, Deoria, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Meerut and Varanasi saw one case .
Secretary of the Head, Health and Welfare of the Additional Family, Amit Mohan Prasad said that while only 33 cases were reported, 64 recovery was recorded.
He added that since April 3, the number of active cases has decreased continuously in the state which is a good sign.
The state has maintained a recovery rate of 98.6%.
“On that date, the number of active cases in the state is 857.
This situation is comparable to the situation on April 18, 2020.
Of these, 515 is under house isolation.
