Up: Dacoit with Bounty Rs 5.5l killed in encounter

Lucknow: A Dacoit with a gift of RS 5 Lakh from Uttar Pradesh and Rs 50,000 from Madhya Pradesh in his head was shot dead by the Uttar Pradesh police special task force at a meeting in Chitrakot on Saturday morning.
Criminal has been identified as Gauri Yadav.
Stf officials said that around 3.30-4: 00 One stf unit, patrolling the Chitrakoot area in connection with other cases, suddenly attacked by Geuri Gang Yadav.
Many ammunition was fired in a meeting where the gang leader Yadav was killed.
STF AMITABH YASH, who also supervised the investigation, said that Yadav’s real name was Uday Bhan and he was involved in 50 cases of murder, extortion, Dako, and Honesty robbery.
From the meeting site, STF recovered a AK-47, an old model of Kalashnikov semi-automatic rifles and one twelve pistol bore (all-made factory), and two weapons made by the country along with hundreds of ammunition and spent.
