Noida: After reporting TII about dogs who died due to serious head trauma and burning injuries, Danka Police had submitted brilliantly against unknown people under the parts of the prevention of animal atrocities laws.
Toi has reported on Tuesday about the death of a dog suffering from severe head injury and burning, trigger rumors that a cracker exploded nearby causing animals that struggle for life.
While the initial report said that a cracker might explode near the dog which caused him to seriously burn injury, a doctor who treated him confirmed that the dog did die from burns and head trauma.
After local activists demanded that the action occur in this case, a police team Dankaur reached the place where the dog was buried on Monday night and digs the dog’s body.
Activist Animal Kaveri Rana who is also a member of the Wildlife and Gaushala Animal Committee told Tii that they had done several calls to the police Dankaur to tell them about the burial of dogs.
“The doctor who treats the dog has suggested that Post Mortem was carried out on his body.
We have done several calls to the police Dankaur to tell them that Post Mortem is needed but we bury the animal’s body around 9pm on Monday.
After Toi reported, a team from the police Dankaur contacted us and reached the green belt in sector 79 where the dog was buried, “he said.
Rana added that a team reached a place on Wednesday afternoon, digging the corpse of the dog and removing the dog’s body.
“They took photos and examined the corpse.
His body caught fire later,” he said.
Veterinary head GB Nagar (CVO) Virendra Srivastava told TII that the veterinarian checked the dog and gave a report that the post of the corpse of the dog could not be done because more than 48 hours had been authorized since animal death.
The action followed the Police Commissioner directing that the investigation began in the case by ACP-3 (Greater Noida) Brijnandan Rai.
Rai told TII that this case would now be investigated according to the doctor’s report and the findings of animal officers who reached the place.
“Local residents were also questioned in this case,” he said.
The FIR has been submitted in the case of unknown people in the complaint from the local district secretary general from the Hindu Unit of Hindu Yuva Vahini (HYV) Vikas Sharma under the IPC section 11 (1) prevention of animal atrocity laws.
Sharma told Ti that they had talked to the locals and reached the place where the dog was found to fight.
“Some locals say that someone might put crackers around the dog’s tail and depart.
We go to the place and find the dog limp and find it difficult to stand up,” he said.
