Varanasi: Ghazipur Administration on Tuesday initiated the process of attaching the wife of Mafia Don and Mla Mukhtar Ansari, Afsha Ansari, and brother-in-law, Sharjil, worth Rs 2.18 Crore in the Saiyyedbada region of Ghazipur District.
A police team was also sent to Lucknow to attach the flat RS One Crore at Gomati Nagar Lucknow.
Varanasi Zone Additional Director General Brij Bhushan said the property on behalf of the wife of Mukhtar Ansari Afsha Ansari and Brother-in-law Sharjil king amounting to Rs 2.18 Crore in the Saiyyedbada region of Ghazipur Regency has been attached under the Gangster Law.
One more team left Ghazipur for Lucknow to put a flat on behalf of them in the Gomati Nagar area, he added, the estimated value of the flat was Rs One Crore.
With these actions, the volume of losses caused by Mukhtar, family members and gang have crossed the 292 crore Rs in the eastern region.
The team, led by ASP (City) Gopinath Soni, reached the Saiyyedbada area in Ghazipur along with severe police forces on Tuesday morning and followed the announcement of the command issued by Magistrate MP Singh, Singh for the stubborn of Mukhtar’s wives and brother housing buildings – In-law, the police completed the foreclosure process.
Tehsildar Mukesh Singh, another official from the Department of Agricultural Revenue and the Sea Police also remained at the location.
