LUCKNOW: Five Kids of a Combined Household drowned in a pond at Gonda on Thursday.

The deceased, called Chanchal (8), Shivakant (6), Ragini (8),” Prakashini (10) and Muskaan (12),’d gone to shoot clay in the pond once the incident happened.
The authorities stated that among the kids may have slid into the pond along with many others drowned when they attempted to rescue him.
SP, Gonda, Santosh Mishra stated that the episode occurred in Rasoolpur village beneath the Khondare government channel.
Family members of those kids told the authorities they had gone into the pond to shoot clay.
From the time villagers can get to the area after hearing shouts of their kids, all of these expired, he explained, adding that”sailors were pushed into service to recover the bodies”
