Kanpur: On a two-day tour of the pollop-bound of Uttar Pradesh, National President of Bharatiya Janata (BJP) Jagat Prakash Nadda and Head of State Minister of Yogi Adityanath visited Baba Namdev Gurudwara in Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur, Tuesday.
When speaking at the event, Nadda said, “The work carried out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Sikh Brothers and our community had never been done before.
I took a blessing and strength of Baba Namdev to do better social services.” Speaking of Baba Namdev and his literary work, Nadda added, “The work of Baba Namdev is in Marathi, Punjabi and Hindi.
Today, I pray for a better vision for parties and people.” Earlier on Monday, the BJP head had visited Gorakhnath temple followed by a short visit to Gita Press at Gorakhpur.
Then, Nadda spoke ‘Booth Sammelans’ and also will meet the Vantangiya family.
Three top leaders of the party – JP Nadda, Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh – are scheduled to overcome the Sammelans booth and hold yatras in the coming month.
Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to go to conduct a assembly poll in 2022.
Previously, in the 2017 assembly election in Uttar Pradesh, Bharatiya Janata’s party bagged 312 seats from the 403 seat of the Uttar Pradesh Majelis while the Samajwadi Party (SP) bagged 47 seats, Bahujan Jamjwadi Party ( BSP) won 19 and Congress could win only seven seats.
