Lucknow: A year after the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Uttarakhand jointly decided not to let Kanwar Yatra annually remember the Pandemic Covid-19, Minister of Chief Yogi Adityanath had directed officials to arrange pilgrimators by Lord Shiva’s worshipers this year.
The Uttarakhand government, on the dock to allow Kumbh Mela in the middle of the second wave of pandemic, will not allow Yatra this year.
The source in the government said that some of the upper organizers also reconsider their decision to hold Yatra this time.
The decision will be communicated to the government immediately, they said.
“Yatra is scheduled to start from July 25.
The House Department has been asked to form a detailed guideline to regulate Yatra this year,” Government spokesman said.
“The Chairman of Yogi Minister Adyityanh said that officials had to talk to their colleagues in Bihar, because there was a significant unity movement between our two countries, and ensured that there was no violation of the Covid protocol,” said a government spokesman.
He said that even when Uttarakhand was closed for Kanwar Yatra, Shiva worshipers above had several sacred sites that they could visit to bring back Ganga Jal.
Taking a signal from the previous year, the government is likely to be included in restrictions on the number of worshipers permitted in the temple at the same time.
For example, said an official, may not be more than five people will be permitted in the temple at a time.
Social staying, wearing masks etc.
will also be mandatory.
Kanwar Yatra took place during the Hindu Moon Shrawan spread in July and August.
Crores of Shiva includes a trip to places such as Haridwar, Gaumukh and Garhmukhteshwar to swim on the Ganga River and fill the pot with Ganga Jal which was then taken back to their homes or temples that were respected and poured on the hallway.
