UP: Leave all police canceled until October 18

Lucknow: Lake Pradesh Police Personnel Leave has been canceled until October 18, considering the upcoming festival and program scheduled by the body of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) farmer, officials said on Monday.
“Because of the SKM festival and program, all leave until October 18 was canceled,” the command issued by the Director General, Law and Additional Order, said Prashant Kumar on Sunday.
“In the case of unavoidable reasons, the police headquarters will provide sanctions / permission to leave,” the command added.
“This order is being implemented with direct effects,” said further.
The celebration of Durga Puja and Ramlila is currently taking place in the state and Dusshera will be celebrated on October 15.
SKM has decided to hold ‘Antim Ardas’ prayers on Tuesday for four farmers who were killed in violence at Lakhimpur Kheri on October 3 on October 3.
It also announced protests ‘Rail Roko’ on October 18.
In addition, political parties began Yatras in the state to glare public support for the 2022 assembly poll.
The Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav will start ‘Jamajwadi Vijay Yatra’ from Kanpur on Tuesday, while the Pragatatheel Samajwadi Party (PSPL) party Shivipal Yadav also started Yatra from Mathura on the day.
