Agra: The 15-year-old boy was detained on Friday for allegedly raping an eight-year-old girl, who was a neighbor.
SP (rustic) Shrish Chandra said the incident occurred in the Month in Mathura around 3pm on Thursday.
The girl played at the defendant’s residence when she was suspected of raping her after returning from school.
To hear his cry for help, the girl’s father rushed to that place and arrested the boy.
SP said the FIR was registered under the IPC 376 (rape) and that the girl was sent for medical examinations.
The boy will be produced before the teen justice council, SP is added.
The victim’s statement was recorded under the part 164 CRPC, he said.
Last month, two small girls, including Dalit, were sexually attacked in Agra and Vrindavan.
The two defendants were neighbors from the victims.
The suspect in the Vrindavan case is a minor (16).
Firs is registered in the 376 IPC section.
In September, a 24-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping and killing a four-year-old girl.
Minor’s body was found in rice fields near his house in the Gonda Aligarh area two days ago.
