Up: Madrassas will continue the offline class

Lucknow: Around 18 Lakh Madrassa students at Uttar Pradesh (above) will now continue their physical class from September 1, as well as their colleagues who study under other boards, the state government decides on Sunday.
This means that after a few months gap, students will return to their classroom after the basic Covid protocol.
The Cabinet Minister for the Welfare of Minorities, Haj and Wakf, Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ on Sundays past the direction, stating that the guidelines that apply to the Department of Basic Education and Secondary Education will be followed for Madrassa education too.
“A proposal from the department was submitted to the Cabinet Minister to continue the madrasa on the lines of the Department of Basic and Medium Education.
He gave official orders on Sunday.
Not only Classe1 to 5 but all the uptil class after the graduation rate will continue from September 1,” said RP Singh Registrar Board.
There are around 16,000 madrasas recognized in the state, including 560 governments assisted by Madrasas.
About 18 lakh students are registered with these institutions since the first to the eighth (Tahtaniya / Fays) to Secondary (Munshi / Maulvi), senior medium (AIM), Kamil (graduation) and Fazil (post graduation).
The government has provided madrasas recognized and assisted under the council to start the previous online class in May this year during the second covid wave.
