UP: Modi PM urges farmers to adopt natural farming

Balrampur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday advises farmers to adopt natural farms that say it will help not only save water but also produce better plants, and invite them to join the Mega program on December 16 because it will prove to be useful for them.
He handled a general meeting in Balrampur after inaugurating the Sarkyu Canal National Project, which would meet irrigation needs of more than 14 hectares of land and benefited around 29 Lakh farmers.
Modi said the big event about natural farming was being held on December 16 and asked farmers throughout the country to connect with him either through TV or Krishi Vigyan Kendras.
Noting that the Padma Awardee Subhash Palekar of Maharashtra has initiated the idea of a natural agricultural budget, Modi said it saves the earth and water and plants produced through it is also better.
