Lucknow: The enforcement directorate, who is investigating the case against Mukhtar Ansari’s Gangstar-Turn-Politician who was imprisoned by the income of Crores Rupee through illegally occupied government land rent, will also look into the 50 lakh RS under the development of the local area of MLA (MLA LAD ) fund.
The money was intended for school construction at Mukhtar Constituency Assembly, but there was no work done at the location.
After the material was revealed, the police wanted to register a case against Mukhtar at the Sarai Lafsi police station on April 26.
The enforcement directorate on Tuesday contacted the government want to find detailed cases.
During the investigation, it appeared that the total number of Rs 25 Lakh was misused from the MLA LAD fund in 2006-07 and again in 2017-18.
Mukhtar released Rs 25 Lakh to Anand Yadav and Baijnath Yadav from Sakin Sarva Village for the construction of a school at the Gram Sabha Land which illegally transferred in the name Baijnath.
However, not one brick is placed on the site.
The source in Ed said the agency would look for land transaction records and also identified other beneficiaries involved in land transfers.
An officer who knew the probe said the case would be beaten with money laundering cases registered by ED in July.
The official said during the previous case investigation against Mukhtar, it was found that he occupied the government’s land in the village wanted and earned around Rs 12 Crore with a cheat giving land to private companies at Rs 1.7 Crore per year.
He collected rent for seven years.
Ed also examined 49 firs that nested against Mukhtar at various state police stations and would also see cases where the cost sheet was submitted.
