Kanpur: Panic wins at the Etawah District Prisoner after several unidentified attackers opening fire indiscriminately at Deputy Jailor SH Jafri during Wee Saturday.
Deputy Jailor but fled without stopping when he took refuge in his official residence.

Deputy Jailor SH Jafri has gone to the prison from his official residence at around 3:30 p.m.
to attend the morning shift.
Only a hundred meters from the prison barrack, three or four people were seen standing between houses and prisons, where he tried to examine it.
As soon as he challenged them, the criminals began to abuse and then fired a shot.
Jafri fled to his residence after the shooting incident.
Even after entering the residence, criminals chased and tried to open the door.
When the door was not opened, the events fired several shots to the door.
Then, Circle Officer (City) Rakesh Vashisht reached together with a heavy police but at that time the criminals had fled.
According to Raj Kishore Singh’s supervisor prison, the attack on Deputy Jailor could be a result of several prison inmates, being investigated.
SSP Brijesh Kumar Singh checked the place and spoke with Deputy Jailor.
He told reporters in accordance with the complaints given by Deputy Jailor, a case would be registered.
“Four police teams have been formed to capture attackers,” SSP added.
Deputy Jailor SH Jafri was attacked by noise at his residence about two years ago.
Then he defeated the criminal.
Even then the noise has violated shooting and managed to escape.
