Lucknow: Two men accused of Gangrape and the murder of a small girl were arrested at a meeting within 12 hours after the crime in Gonda.
The police team was valued by Rs 50,000 for his quick action.
Gonda SP Santosh Mishra said the defendant was identified as Mahesh Yadav and Sanjay.
“The little girl came out at around 8pm on Friday but did not return.
His family was worried and after looking for about half an hour, they found his body in the field of about 100 meters from home,” said Mishra.
The police were told and the defendant was traced to the field of sugar cane.
The meeting occurred and shot was interchanged.
Yadav was injured when Sanjay gave up.
