LUCKNOW: The state administration has sought a report on fundamental schooling officials in 18 districts on drawback of Rs 9 crore from banks intended for supply of food, medications and stationery into some home schools for women — Kasturba Girls Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV) — that does not have any record of pupil attendance in the past academic semester.
Officials stated both women did not attend their presence wasn’t uploaded on line.
The government-run school series contains 746 KGBVs for women in the economically weaker section.
The fundamental education section, but said, officials also have listed cost created by districts for meals, stationery provide and medical help, but they don’t have any information on pupil attendance.
Particular secretary, fundamental schooling, Vijay Kiran Anand, stated the division has sought information from 18 districts on pupil presence between January and March this year.
In his correspondence to BSAs,” Anand said that when no presence information was uploaded to the Prerna portalsite, there’s been 100 percent payment for meals, medical support and Jazz source and this is obviously a continuation to irregularities.
Speaking to TOI, Anand said,”All simple shiksha adhikaris (BSAs) were requested to send files to the state job office of this Samagra Shiksha until June 15.
According to internet feed, we may observe the total offered by districts, however, capital utilisation has to be substantiated by records.
” According to cost quotes, Rs 96 lakh was pulled for KGBV food distribution, healthcare and stationery in Gonda, Rs 84 lakh retreated in Bareilly, Rs 74 lakh at Bijnor, Rs 68 lakh at Deoria, Rs 31 lakh at Fatehpur, Rs18 lakh at Ghaziabad, Rs 32 lakh at Kanshiram Nagar, Rs 23 lakh at Mau, Rs 26 lakh each pulled in Meerut, Shravasti and Sonbhadra, Rs 63 lakh at Rae Bareli, Rs 76 lakh at Pratapgarh, Rs 38 lakh at Sant Kabir Nagar, Rs 47 lakh at Unnao and Rs 44 lakh at Sultanpur.
