LUCKNOW: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) seen a different departure of a senior associate using former minister Ambika Chaudhary resigning from the party Saturday, hours after his child had been passed on a ticket by Samajwadi Party to competition zila panchayat chairperson elections.
Chaudhary, who was minister in two SP authorities under Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav, combined BSP before 2017 meeting elections aboard a feud from the Yadav family.
His resignation, said resources, is a sign of his impending return to the SP fold.
In his resignation letter into BSP chief Mayawati, Chaudhary explained, he was not delegated work following the 2019 Lok Sabha polls and that he had been feeling reckless.
His conclusion was guided by his kid’s movement to rival panchayat chairperson chair on SP ticket and also didn’t want his devotion to BSP contested or convicted of conflict of interest,” he added.
“As I joined BSP before 2017 meeting elections, I have been a committed employee.
I met big and little duties given to me personally.
Following 2019 Lok Sabha elections, for reasons unknown to me personally, I have yet to be granted any duty and this caused me to feel marginalised,” he explained.
A senior BSP participant stated, Chaudhary had contested 2017 meeting polls to a BSP ticket and also wished to contest Lok Sabha polls also, but because of the alliance with SP, he didn’t receive his preferred seat.
Afterward, he had been included in elections in Chhattisgarh.
“His resignation could just indicate he would like to come back to SP, because his son was given a ticket,” he explained.
Mayawati had minding two senior party members, MLA Lalji Verma and former president Ram Achal Rajbhar on June 3.
