Varanasi: At least six people were killed after a truck hit a roadside tea kiosk and destroyed them in the Ghazipur district on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in Ahrauli Village under the limits of the Mohammadabad police station.
On Tuesday morning many people had collected a tea kiosk on the outskirts of Ahirauli Village.
Meanwhile, a truck moved towards Ghazipur from Bharauli past the area.
When the driver lost control of the steering wheel, the truck crashed into a roadside tea kiosk killing Umashankar Yadav (50), Golu Yadav (15), Virendra RAM (45) and Satayendra Thakur (28) from Jiyandaspur Village in place.
The other two – Chandramohan Rai (45) and Shyam Bihari Kushwaha – Ahrauli village suffered a big injury after coming under the wheel of the truck and suffered a grave injury.
They were taken to the district hospital, where they gave up on injury during treatment.
Missing the murder in this accident, the local natives arrested the driver of the killer truck and struggled.
Police Mohammadabad had to exercise hard to save the driver from a horde of angry villagers.
Then, he also rushed to the district hospital.
The villagers also blocked the road and held a massive demonstration demanding compensation for the families of the people who were killed, the creation of speed breakers on this road and the action against this truck driver.
Despite the efforts of recurring HR and other officials, they are stiff to their request.
