LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday said it would enable areas of worship to stay open during the weekend curfew.
But not over five devotees may be found within the spiritual places at any particular time.
Before, the authorities had allowed religious areas to work just from Monday to Friday.
Based upon the region of the assumptions of these areas, a maximum of 50 men were permitted indoors.
A government spokesperson stated that industrial components would likewise be permitted to work during the weekend.
“Though the government has started most areas out of Monday, curfew will be enforced on weekends to make certain that speed of Covid disease remains low.
But, spiritual places and industrial components will be allowed to start during both of these days.
The authorities must be courteous and sympathetic.
It is going to also make sure there is not any unnecessary crowding in any location,” he explained.
