Santosh Murat Singh, a native of Chituni of Varanasi, has been declared dead in the income department.

On the basis of false death certificates, his cousin allegedly sold twelve and half a hectare of land after getting it in their name.
Santosh has tried to oppose the election for 17 years to prove himself alive, but he has not achieved success.
Santosh told the media people that he had submitted a nomination in the 2012 Presidential Election, in 2014 and 2019 from the Varanasi seat in the selection of Lok Sabha, his nomination was rejected.
In 2017, he opposed the shivpur assembly chair from Varanasi, but was lost.
To prove himself, he came to the election of Kanpur, the birthplace of President of Ram Nath Kovind.
