Gorakhpur: A video from a school principal was defined with sandals by a female teacher for allegedly harassing it in the adjacent Siddharthnagar district had become a viral on social media, officials said.
The incident took place in the agardih elementary school under the tehsil on Thursday and the investigation was ordered after the teacher (Shiksha Mitra) registered a complaint with the Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA).
According to complaints, the main Manoj Kumar called Teacher to his office on Thursday morning and tried to harass him.
When he opposed, he used his demeaning language and asked him to leave.
The video starts with the teacher struggling with Kumar with his legs.
Moments later, the principal was seen escaping to save himself from beating while Teacher who was angry chasing him with sandals at hand.
The teacher gave complaints to BSA Rajendra Singh who had asked the education block officer to investigate this problem and warned that strict action would be taken against anyone who was found guilty.
