Lucknow: The day after the body of a teenage son of Barbanki’s lawyer, who was taken hostage for 24 hours, was found in the village field, the police damaged the kidnapping plot and arrested the mastermind.
The defendant, Satayendra Kumar and Nagendra Kumar, who is a relative of the lawyer, Bondilal Gautam, has demanded RS 60Lakh ransom because he released his 17-year-old son of captivity.
When Gautam failed to cough a ransom in the deadline, the duo killed their hostage and threw away his body.
Electronic surveillance helps capture the kidnappers on Friday.
Kingpin Satayendra, a mason by the profession, destroyed the boy’s skull with an iron pan and his sacree strangled him to death.
Murder, cellphone and slippers of boys and motorbikes were confiscated by the police.
“The deceased, a resident of Locality Fatehabad Barabanki, was lost from 2pm, Thursday and his cellphone was turned off by his kidnappers after the last call by the older brother, Anurag.
