Lucknow: In one of the fastest beliefs, the Bahraich court on Monday distributed the death penalty for the 30-year-old child accused of rape and the murder of a 18-month-old girl.
The whole process, from the arrest of Parshuram to his belief, takes 55 days, which is in accordance with the police is a note.
The trial gets more than eight working days.
The incident occurred on June 22 when Prashuram raped the victim in the school.
He was arrested after a meeting where he suffered a bullet injury at his feet.
ADG, Gorakhpur Zone, Akhil Kumar, said the belief was confirmed in the record of time because of the careful collection of evidence and chargesheet filing by Bahraich police.
Police supervisor, Bahraich, Sujata Singh, who led the investigation, said the defendant was ordered under the section relating to the rape, killing and protection of children from the acts of sexual violations (Pocso).
“We ensure that all proof is collected and the cost sheet is submitted within 28 days,” he said.
“While the sample was collected quickly, the new FSL laboratory at Gorakhpur gave DNA reports in 37 days to make a waterproof case,” said Singh.
He further said that the DNA report showed that the accused sample was matched with those found in the toddler body after rape.
This case occurred in a trial from August 2 at the Additional Judge Court of Pocso I) Nitin Pandey.
The court sentenced Parshuram on August 12 for only eight working days due to coordination of prosecution.
“Judgment in time will provide a strong message to violators in the community,” the officer said.
Additional Chief Secretary (Houses), Awanish Awasthi, gave RS 1 Lakh gift to Bahraich Police, while DGP, Mulping Gour announced praise for case investigation officers and appreciation for the FSL team, along with the FSL team and prosecution.
