ETAWAH: Liquor shops in Saifai of Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district have begun to sell liquor just to those who’ve been vaccinated from Covid-19 and create certificates.
“We’re promoting liquor just after assessing the Covid vaccination certification of their client,” a shopkeeper states.
A signal outside his shop reads,”Liquor will soon be accessible to people who’ve already been vaccinated (against Covid-19)”.
When asked about directions to shops regarding the very same, district excise officer Kamal Kumar Shukla stated that no order was issued by the authorities.
“No this order was issued.
The sub-dvisional magistrate may have asked spirits vendors to inspire folks to get vaccinated,” he explained.
The nationally vaccination drive is under way.
According to the union health ministry, even since many as 19,80,245 individuals between the ages of 18 to 44 in Uttar Pradesh have obtained the initial dose of this vaccine while 8,792 have obtained their next shot.
