Lucknow: The Yamuna Expressway Industry Development Region (YEIDA) has emerged as the main industrial center in the country where 1,564 investors have placed around Rs 16,523 Crore to build their units over the past four years.
When finished, these projects will provide jobs for 2,60,413 people.
A government spokesman said that investment in the Yeida area is likely to increase due to the upcoming international airport.
“Over the past four years, 3,908 large investors have acquired the industrial plot with an investment of Rs 61,331 Crore.
The highest number of investments has been made in the Yeida area.
In addition, 1,035 units will be arranged under UPCIDA, 864 units under the authority of the Development Noida, 345 Units under Greater Noida and 118 units under Gida, “said the spokesman.
The official said that the government’s friendly infrastructure policy and development of investors had created a positive environment in the state.
He said that work was walking on many large projects under Yeida, including film films, Raya Heritage City and Tappal Logistics Hub, which is expected to drop from 2023-24.
There are also plans to develop garden crafts, garden clothes, MSME parks, and city toys here too.
Listed out of the leading company that has been allocated land in the area, officially mentioned Ishi technology, Pharmacy dev, Kwality Buildcon, Mattend Limited, Raj Corporation, Galvano India Private Limited, Bikaner, Quadrant, Swastic Industry, Solar Global Flexi, Narsee Pvt Ltd, Haldiram Snacks Pvt Ltd, Holistic India Kent Ro, Orient Fashion Export and Bodycare International.
Meanwhile, Vivo almost established its factory for mobile manufacturing in the 24 Yeida sector and the production might begin in four to six months ahead.
The Yingtong electronic technology unit for making mobile accessories is also almost ready in sector 24.
