New Delhi: The day after three crude oil bombs thrown outside the BJP MP Arjun Singh’s house in the 24 North Pargana district of West Bengal, the center has increased the cover of armed security for the ‘Z’ category.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday issued orders that provide security responsibilities to leaders with Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF).
“The paramilitary wings under the central government took over allegations on Tuesday,” said the government’s source to Ani.
The leader will be given a security cover only in West Bengal, said the source, adding “Arjun Singh previously provided the security category” Y + “by CISF.
CISF has provided security cover ‘Y +’ for Arjun Singh since it was March 2019.
Singh, a member Parliament of the Barlackpore parliamentary constituency, has now been placed under the supervision of security of more than nine CISF armies armed at his home all the time.
A team of five armed commanders will provide security to leaders while traveling in West Bengal.
BJP leaders are given security charges immediately after the Investigation Agency National (Nia) on Monday took the investigation related to raw bomb attacks outside his home.
Three crude oil bombs were thrown out of the house of Arjun Singh ‘Majdoor Bhavan’ in Jagaddal in District 24 North Parginas Bengal, although there was a security presence, on September 8 morning between 6am and 6.30 in the morning.
